Castellorizian Aged Care Services (CACS)
is a fully accredited nursing home located in Kensington in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney close to both the cities CBD, Centennial Park and some of Sydney’s glorious beaches.
THE CASTELLORIZIAN HOME IS CENTRALLY LOCATED, IT’S ON THE MAIN BUS ROUTE FROM CENTRAL STATION AND THE CITY.
It is close to public and private hospitals, churches and shops and is within easy walking distance of Centennial Park.
Residents can enjoy our relaxing courtyards and internal activities areas. The garden courtyards are easily accessible and are a favourite for residents and their families to relax in and enjoy. We often hold morning teas for residents in these areas.
Our residents also enjoy a variety of recreational and community activities. Each day of the week offers new and varied activities ranging from in-house fitness and craft classes, through to encouraging families to take residents out to community events and other activities. Every Tuesday, Greek Coffee is served, this is a very happy event often attended by families and friends.
We also offer a range of therapy facilities including podiatrists, massage, aromatherapy and hairdressers visiting on a regular basis.
We have a choice of single or share accommodation in a friendly and safe environment. We also have a Dementia unit, where residents’ activities are closely monitored.
Castellorizian accommodates residents from a variety of different cultures and backgrounds, including Greek, Italian, Hungarian and Australian. To make sure everyone feels at home we offer multilingual staff, a culturally appropriate menu and specifically designed activity programs.
Experienced Registered Nurses are on duty 24 hours a day to provide high-level care and specialised nursing treatments when required. All the AIN’s are qualified to at least certificate three and are given extensive in-service training throughout the year.
